]]>Late in the afternoon on Friday, December 1, 2020 Pioneer John Tewell will light the City of Fallon Christmas Tree. Maine Street will remain open throughout the evening so that you and your household can drive by and see the tree lit up.
From 6:00 to 8:00 pm you can drive by City Hall using S. Carson Street where volunteers will be handing out cookies and hot chocolate for you to enjoy while driving around looking at Christmas lights. A list of houses with Christmas lights and decorations is provided below with map links for your desired route.
An extended fireworks display will be shot off from the Churchill County Fairgrounds at 8:00 pm. Please enjoy the fireworks show from the comfort of your car.
We know, like us, you’d prefer to be on Maine Street for the festivities we are used to. Unfortunately, our current COVID situation doesn’t provide a safe way to do that. We extend our apologies and hope you can still enjoy the evening while remaining safe and healthy.
